About The Experience
The oldest heritage site in the region, Qasr Al Hosn, takes you to the historical city of Abu Dhabi. Once home to the royals and government, the palace offers a glimpse into the rich history and beauty of ancient Abu Dhabi. The inner fort, which was built in 1795, still stands tall, along with the outer palace, built in the 1940s. The fort and the palace might not be that old, but the art and artefacts you find here date as early as 6000 BC. The historical signs take you on a journey back in time.
You will find Qasr Al Hosn a historical treasury with the place’s efforts at preserving the ancient art and crafts of the UAE. The cultural foundation there offers you stunning and unique artwork created by local artists. You might also get to see some cultural shows and workshops. Apart from that, Bait Al Gahwa is another destination you will not want to miss. It spills the beans about Arabic coffee, and you get to learn things like the preparation of coffee, some interesting coffee facts, and its significance in Emirati culture. With a sip of coffee, you can recharge yourself for your next adventure.
